Clash on the Clyde took place in October 2025 at the ACVC Hub in Glasgow. The day brought together hobbyists, veterans, serving personnel and the wider community for a vibrant celebration of miniature painting, tabletop gaming and creative camaraderie. From open painting stations where beginners and experienced artists alike could pick up a brush, to friendly competitions and live demonstrations from industry experts, the atmosphere was electric. One of the highlight moments came when the Best Painted Miniature award was announced, and prize winners throughout the day were acknowledged for their artistic skill, inventive designs and dedication to the craft.
This event was delivered in partnership with Company of Makers (visit companyofmakers.com) and also proudly funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (learn more at covenantfund.org.uk), whose generous support helped make the event accessible—especially to veterans and serving personnel seeking community and creative connection.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated prizes, shared their skills, and helped make this day a success. Whether you joined in person or watched via livestream, your participation helped build community, inspire creativity and remind us all of the power of hobby-driven connection. We look forward to welcoming you back for future events with the Glasgow Hobby Clan.
