At the Glasgow Hobby Clan, our mission is to create a thriving community built on creativity, connection, and a shared passion for tabletop hobbies. We believe that miniature painting, gaming, and model building are more than just pastimes — they are powerful ways to spark imagination, build friendships, and support positive wellbeing. We bring together veterans, hobbyists, and newcomers of all ages, offering a welcoming space where skills are shared, creativity is celebrated, and everyone has a place at the table. Through workshops, events, and community nights, we aim to make the hobby accessible, inclusive, and inspiring — growing not only individual talent, but also a stronger, more connected Glasgow hobby community.
I started the Clan because I wanted to create a space where people could come together and share their love of the hobby. Painting and building miniatures can sometimes feel like a solitary thing, and I knew there were so many people out there in Glasgow who would enjoy it more with a community around them.
The GHC is about more than just models and games. It’s about friendships, creativity, and having a place where everyone feels welcome — whether you’re picking up a brush for the very first time or you’ve been painting and playing for years.
What began as an idea has grown into a community that supports each other, celebrates each other’s work, and makes the hobby more fun for everyone.
